Despite an incredible breakout rookie season, Jordan Howard struggled in the passing game. Howard led all NFL running backs in dropped passes last season with eight, which led the Bears to draft rookie Tarik Cohen.

Before the preseason, Cohen impressed at OTAs and minicamp. John Fox said he expected Cohen to help out on third down. In the preseason, Cohen showed what the hype is about.

Cohen is a Darren Sproles clone. He’s fast but undersized. At North Carolina A&T, he received an impressive 40.8 percent of the running back’s yards and touchdowns and ran for 7.2 yards per carry.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen expects Cohen to touch the ball 8-12 times per game.

Cohen is currently not being drafted in Apex drafts and could see value snaps on 3rd downs. He is a below the radar sleeper in PPR leagues that could have an immediate impact.
