Each week I will be releasing my favorite FanDuel plays for the weekend. These plays are decided by market prices and match ups. When I believe someone is a bargain that owners can benefit off of, this is the space that I’ll let my secrets out.
Let’s not waste anymore time, there’s money to be made.
Carson Palmer vs. PHI – $7,400
At a price of just $7,400, Carson Palmer is the 15th most expensive quarterback. Playing against the Eagles subpar secondary, he has potential to finish within the top five. Palmer gives you a chance at unique upside with a cheap price tag.
Jerick McKinnon at TB – $5,800
If you follow my writing, you know I’m a huge fan of Jerick McKinnon. Finally he’s combining a solid matchup with a heavy workload. The Buccaneers are allowing the 5th most points to opposing running backs. With McKinnon receiving an average of 17 touches over his last two games, he’s sure to gash the Bucs.
Travaris Cadet vs. GB – $5,300
While it looks as if I’m advocating players to use two cheap running backs, I use at least one strong RB1 in every lineup – these are just two of my difference-making cheap running backs. With Pierre Thomas injured, Travaris Cadet will see all of the pass-game work for the Saints at running back. Against the Packers they’ll be sure to pass a significant amount.
Michael Floyd vs. PHI – $6,500
There’s no question that Michael Floyd’s fantasy value is closely tied to Carson Palmer’s health. With Palmer back and healthy, Floyd’s arrow is pointing straight up. This week he faces an Eagles secondary that has been favorable for opposing wide receivers.
Eric Decker vs. BUF – $6,300
Finally healthy from an early season hamstring aggravation, Eric Decker is an intriguing play this week. He’s performed consistently when healthy but hasn’t had a big breakout game. Allowing at least one touchdown to an opposing wide receiver in every game this season, Decker is a good bet to find the end zone.
Sammy Watkins at NYJ – $7,300
Coming off a 122-yard two-touchdown performance, Sammy Watkins has a very favorable matchup this week. Kyle Orton has force-fed Watkins since taking over as the Bills’ starter and the Jets have struggled to defend opposing wide receivers. It’s a recipe for a nice game.
Jordan Reed at DAL – $5,200
Since returning from his hamstring injury, Jordan Reed has been consistent. This week he faces a Dallas defense that has allowed the 2nd most points to opposing tight ends. On FanDuel, Reed’s price does not match his talent.
